Midjourney Monday: The Trapper Keeper Collaboration Between Basil Gogos and Lisa Frank

Been playing with the Midjourney art AI for the giggles, and discovered that using Basil Gogos (Famous Monsters of Filmland cover artist) and Lisa Frank (she of the 1980s/1990s technicolor unicorn trapper keepers) in the prompts yielded some interesting results:

Creature From the Black Lagoon

Frankenstein’s Monster, Universal version (No I don’t know why he looks like he just escaped from this Bollywood dance number).

Count Orlock, with minor postwork to give him sharper incisors. (“vampire” and “Dracula” as keywords gave me knockoffs of the Joker; “Bela Lugosi” gave me uninteresting mashups of him and Boris Karloff. Didn’t even try Christopher Lee with his extremely regular, conventionally handsome features.)

Werewolf (do not use “Wolfman,” Midj will give you werewolf parodies of Wolfman Jack.)

The Gorgon

The first one I did, and my personal favorite, Baron Frankenstein, Hammer version (minor postwork to make the eyes blue.)
